Siyue holds an LLB (Maritime Law) from Shanghai Maritime University and an LLM in Maritime Law from National University of Singapore. Prior to join Stephenson Harwood, he has worked in top Singapore and international law firms in Singapore and Shanghai and has acted for banks, leasing companies, ship owners and airlines in various cross-border ship finance, aircraft finance, asset finance, banking finance and ship sale and purchase transactions. He has also been seconded to Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) and Bank of America (Hong Kong) as legal counsel supporting banks’ asset finance business in APAC.

Siyue speaks English, Mandarin and Shanghainese.
