Richard is an experienced dispute resolution lawyer who has acted on a broad range of high value disputes within the marine, trade, insurance and energy sectors.

He has acted on contractual, charterparty and bill of lading disputes for shipowners, charterers, cargo owners, insurers, and state owned companies across Europe, Africa, Australia, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America.

Richard has acted in proceedings in the English High Court and Court of Appeal, Australian Supreme and Federal Courts, and mediations and international arbitrations conducted under the ICC, LCIA, SCMA and  UNCITRAL rules.
