Pierre is a French avocat and a solicitor with a strong marine background having previously worked for P&I Clubs where he handled a variety of claims including H&M and FD&D. He advises on both contentious and non-contentious matters in all sectors of the shipping industry.

Pierre gained commercial and legal expertise dealing with claims involving offshore vessels, containerships, bulkers and tankers across the globe. He further strengthened his knowledge of marine insurance by passing seven Modules of the P&IQ.

Pierre handles a wide range of marine claims and investigations involving collisions, explosions and fires, salvage and general average, coverage advice and charterparty disputes. He is able to assist from the early stages of a casualty until its resolution, be it judicial, arbitral, or amicable.

Pierre is a French native speaker, fluent in Portuguese and Spanish. He is qualified in England & Wales and is admitted to the French (Marseilles) bar. He holds a Master's degree in Litigation & Arbitration from the University Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas and a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Maritime Law from the University of Southampton (distinction).

Acting for owners and P&I Clubs in collision casualties.
