Paulina is an associate specialising in high value and international commercial disputes.  Although her practice is primarily focused on fraud litigation, Paulina also has experience in property disputes and is a member of the firm’s art and cultural property group.

Paulina has experience of dealing with civil fraud and asset recovery claims, representing both claimants and defendants.  She has advised applicants and respondents in relation to injunctions, disclosure orders and jurisdictional challenges. Paulina has a varied client base, including high net worth individuals, public-sector entities, large corporations and insolvency practitioners. Her caseload is often multi-jurisdictional.

Paulina also regularly advises on property disputes, including dilapidations, forfeiture and possession claims and she has particular expertise in lease renewal work.

Paulina has advised on a range of matters in the art sector and has spent six months working in Doha as part of a secondment to Qatar Museums during her training contract with the firm.

Advising in relation to a jurisdictional challenge application in the context of a fraud claim.

Corporate trustee

Acting for a trustee of a multi-billion dollar trust in relation to its successful application for a freezing order in support of overseas proceedings in an offshore jurisdiction.

Claimant in a business divorce case

Advising a claimant on fraud claims against his former joint venture partner, including successfully obtaining a freezing order and advising on parallel litigation in multiple jurisdictions.
