Before joining Wei Tu, Niki practiced PRC law at the Foreign-related Legal Service Group in a PRC Law Firm, focusing on cross-border litigation and arbitration cases. Her represented cases were selected by the Supreme People's Court of China as one of the "2021 Typical National Maritime Cases" and selected by the Guangzhou Maritime Court as one of the "Top 10 Typical Cases of 2021".

She graduated from City University of Hong Kong with a master degree in Corporate and Commercial Law.

Represented 13 Filipino crew service contract disputes, which were selected by the Supreme People's Court of China as one of the "2021 Typical National Maritime Cases" and were included in the "Supreme People's Court Work Report".

Represented a Hong Kong shipping company in applying for maritime preservation, which was selected by the Guangzhou Maritime Court as one of the "Top 10 Typical Cases of 2021".

Represented a foreign logistics company and a domestic shipping enterprise in an ad hoc arbitration with the London Arbitrators Association (LMAA) in a voyage charter contract dispute.

Represented a Hong Kong shipping company in disputes over the contract of carriage of goods by sea with multiple parties. Participated in parallel proceedings involving domestic litigation and Hong Kong arbitration.

Assisted partners in serving as a China Law Expert to advise Singapore High Court proceedings, issuing a Expert Report on the Chinese customs laws and regulations involved in the dispute over the international sales of goods of Australian coal.

Represented a Hong Kong-listed company in resolving disputes arising from the transfer of the company's equity and substantial real estate assets through a series of improper related-party transactions over its wholly-owned subsidiary in mainland China, which is illegally controlled by its legal representative, including the administrative proceeding of change of the legal representative, as well as litigation proceeding in Guiyang.

Represented a BVI company in disputes over several equity transfer contracts with a Shanghai company, including first and second-instance proceedings and enforcement proceedings filed in the courts of Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beihai, and other places.

Represented a Hong Kong company (in liquidation) in applying the Arrangement Concerning Mutual Assistance in Court-ordered Interim Measures in Aid of Arbitral Proceedings by the Courts of the Mainland and of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in Hong Kong arbitration proceedings and successfully applying for property preservation in mainland China (Shenzhen).

Represented a Hong Kong internet company that handles exclusive contract and tort disputes with several foreign hosts and initiated arbitration with the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC).

Represented a large Chinese state-owned enterprise in international trade disputes and L/C disputes arising from export controls and economic sanctions.
