Lisa specialises in asset finance with a particular focus on general leasing and rail finance. She has over 25 years of experience in the leasing sector and regularly advises a variety of banks and financial institutions in relation to all types of structures. These include finance and operating leases as well as asset-backed lending, receivables financing both from lease and service contracts and debt deals with security over key assets often with a cross-border aspect.

Lisa's work over the past year has involved a number of important transactions such as advising SQN Asset Finance Income Fund Limited on the leasing aspects of the launch of their new equipment leasing fund. She also advised Alliance Laundry Systems LLC on their entry into the European equipment finance market, through the establishment of a vendor finance program. 

Lisa is a Governor of The Leasing Foundation and takes an active role in discussions relating to the development of the leasing industry. Her many years of active involvement in the industry have allowed Lisa to develop a large network in which she is well regarded by her peers and her clients.

Alliance Laundry Systems, European vendor finance and US$400 million securitisation

Advised US commercial laundry equipment manufacturer Alliance Laundry Systems LLC on the establishment of a European vendor finance programme as well as the English and French aspects of its securitisation. 

SQN Asset Finance Income Fund Limited

Acting for Guernsey based SQN Asset Finance Income Fund in relation to the due diligence aspects of its £150 million IPO at the London Stock Exchange.

Acting for SQN Asset Finance Income Fund, a Guernsey fund, in relation to the sale and leaseback of temporary hotel accommodation and ancillary equipment.

FES Lighting Contracts

Advising FES Lighting Contracts on the financing of a supply of lighting and services contract with NCP to retrofit NCP car parks across the UK with new energy efficient lighting systems supported by a UK guarantee. This is the first transport (being car parks) infrastructure project to have qualified for a UK Guarantee.

Acting for a number of financiers in relation to the funding of the fit out of data halls to be used by several tenants, the financiers looking at the receivables under the tenancy agreements as security.

Acting on behalf of the financier in relation to the purchase of receivables due under a managed service contract, including advice on how to make the managed service contract "bankable" and drafting a direct agreement between the financier and the parties to the managed service contract dealing with supplier default.

Lloyds Bank Plc

Advising Lloyds Bank in relation to the purchase of receivables from another bank. The receivables relate to the leasing of various items of subsea mooring equipment.
