Kelly is an associate in the ship finance group and a qualified lawyer in Greece. She completed an LLM in International Shipping Law at Queen Mary University of London and she specialises in all aspects of cross-border ship finance and refinance transactions, sale and purchase transactions and shipbuilding contracts.

She regularly assists major financial institutions, ship owners, operating companies, and equity investors with the negotiation of preparation of loan and security documentation. Her responsibilities include drafting of corporate and security documentation, handling post-closing matters, attending signing and closing meetings, and seeing to the preparation of “bibles” and registration of vessels and mortgages under the relevant flag and mortgage discharges.

She also assists financiers and owners within the yachting industry mainly with the sale and purchase of yachts.
