Kathryn acts for both landlords and tenants on a broad range of property litigation matters. She regularly advises landlords on vacant possession strategies to enable redevelopment, using suitable tactics to put pressure on tenants to enable vacant possession to be obtained quickly.
She has particular experience advising landlords on tenant insolvency issues, including reviewing and advising on company voluntary arrangements and the implications of tenants going into administration or liquidation. She has also acted on a number of high value dilapidations claims, involving complex factual and valuation issues. She is also developing her practice in professional negligence disputes.
Kathryn recently acted for a landlord client on one of the first rent arbitrations under the Commercial Rent (Coronavirus) Act 2022 dealing with a seven figure level of arrears.
