Joavan has represented high-net-worth individuals in corporate disputes and building and construction disputes and individual Plaintiffs in medical negligence claims. Most notably, he assisted as 2nd chair in an appeal before the Appellate Division of the High Court and the 4-day trial below in the General Division of the High Court. The subject matter of the dispute involved breach of duties under an employment contract as a CEO and breach of fiduciary duties as a director of various corporate entities across multiple jurisdictions, and a S$4.7 million claim and S$1.9 million counterclaim.
