He has acted on a number of significant maritime cases including the MSC Napoli grounding in the UK, the Neftegaz 67 disaster (criminal liability for Master of ship), the Lamma IV disaster (criminal liabilities, personal injuries claims and public enquiry) in Hong Kong, the MOL Comfort casualty and sinking, the Antea/Star Centurion collision (limitation of liability for wreck removal claims), the CF Crystal/Sanchi collision (forum non-conveniens & collision jurisdiction), the Dragon Sunrise (distinction between salvage & towage services). He appeared as trial advocate in the three-way TS Singapore/Xin Nan Tai/MCC Jakarta collision trial. He also acted in the Aeroflot "child in the cockpit" air crash litigation, in Hong Kong's largest ever contested probate matter and regularly advises on Administrators' duties and also the law of auctions.
