Janet is a finance lawyer specialising in the aviation sector. She has experience in portfolio restructurings, financing and leasing matters.

Janet is a New York qualified attorney. She has advised financial institutions, airlines and lessors on various financing, refinancing, lease novation, sale and purchase, restructuring and derivatives transactions.

Her experience includes advising the Lion Air Group and its subsidiaries on their aircraft portfolio structurings, advising Cebu Pacific on refinancings, leasing and novations, and advising lessors on their aircraft sale and leasing transactions. 
Janet advises financial institutions and corporates in relation to their derivatives and hedging trades under ISDA documents. She has also been involved in commodity financings and recently acted for commodity houses in relation to financings extended to Indonesian mining companies.

Prior to joining Stephenson Harwood, Janet worked at the Singapore office of an international law firm where she regularly advised borrowers and lenders on corporate financing transactions involving multiple jurisdictions including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, the BVI and the PRC.
