James is an associate in the commercial litigation practice group specialising in construction, engineering, PFI and rail disputes.

James has experience of acting for a range of clients including employers, contractors, sub-contractors, rolling stock manufacturers and train operating companies on a variety of claims.

James has acted on disputes arising from a wide range of projects including data centres, high rise buildings, hospitals, hotels, listed buildings, offices, pumping stations, residential apartments, schools, social housing and warehouses, as well as rail concessions and franchises and rolling stock manufacturing.

James has experience of various dispute resolution procedures with particular experience of High Court litigation and adjudication.

James trained in the firm's London and Singapore offices.

Acting for a global drinks company in a £160 million claim in connection with the defective design and construction of the largest wine production and distribution facility in the UK involving multi-party proceedings in the Technology and Construction Court.
