Casualty – bulk cargo fire
Responding in the immediate aftermath of an explosion of cargo on board a bulk carrier vessel. Working closely alongside an IG P&I Club, anticipating claims likely to arise within the charterparty chain under the ICA Rules and negotiating/corresponding with large numbers of parties and experts.

Successfully arresting a vessel in a foreign jurisdiction by way of security on behalf of a shipyard in a dispute arising under a contract for the provision of heavy lift services.

Advising insurance institutions in disputes concerning exemptions under the Institute War and Strikes clauses of marine insurance policies where vessels have purported to be seized under "ordinary judicial processes".
English court injunction
Successfully obtaining an urgent English court injunction to restrain a specialist vessel threatening to depart a shipyard without performing its contractual obligations.
