Hugo has been involved in a number of cross-border asset finance transactions and has assisted airlines, banks, funds, private equity investors and lessors on a range of transactional aviation and shipping matters.

His project finance work involves advising on large scale domestic and international projects covering a wide range of sectors: hospitals, stadiums, solar plants, university campuses, etc. He has represented multilateral financing institutions and commercial banks as well as domestic and international sponsors, borrowers and investors.

Prior to joining Stephenson Harwood, Hugo worked in the asset and project finance practice of a major international law firm in its Paris, London, and Singapore offices.
