Hajer specialises in various areas of law including general corporate matters, private equity, mergers and acquisitions on both buy and sell side, and financial transactions.

In M&A transactions, Hajer plays a key role in due diligence exercises, analysing various legal documents and conducting thorough research, as well as drafting transactional documents.

Hajer's client base comprises of financial regulatory bodies, banks, local and international trading companies and private equity firms. She also has experience in supporting both institutional investors and founder/management teams throughout the Middle East.

Additionally, Hajer has significant experience in supporting the banking and finance team on market leading transactions, particularly within the renewable energy sector.

Advised Coniston Capital on its investment in the CRC Group, a data led B2B consultancy.

Advised Agathos Management LLP, a lower mid-market private equity firm, on its majority investment in Simply Sustainable.

Acted for a leading international provider of private schools as buyers on the sale and purchase of the entire issued share capital of a UK online schooling platform, including its UAE and Australian branches.

Advised UK-based CEOs and founders on the sale and purchase of group companies that hold 10 UK-based nurseries and pre-schools.

Assisted in due diligence processes for acquisitions and prepared corporate due diligence reports for various target entities based in the GCC. 

Managed a multi-million acquisition financing transaction in the renewable energy sector which involved the purchase and the leasing of solar panels to major retail provider.

Advised a solar energy company on a multi-million dirham debt refinancing with a national bank for a portfolio of solar projects in the United Arab Emirates.

Advised a regulated public listed derivative platform on the regulatory framework in the onshore UAE regarding obtaining a license to trade.
