Co-head of the corporate M&A and private equity team in the Paris office, Guillaume advises public and private companies, as well as private equity funds, on a variety of French and international transactional matters.

Guillaume has more than 15 years' experience advising European and US investors on their inbound investments in France, whether through the acquisition of businesses or equity investments in high growth companies, and advising French corporate players in their international operations. He focuses his practice on the technology (including telecoms) and life sciences sectors, but also has extensive experience in transactions involving the agri-food, media, and manufacturing industries. He regularly leads international transactions and quarterbacks cross-border teams of lawyers, with a particular focus on pan-European or cross-Atlantic transactions.

In an increasingly complex international legal landscape, Guillaume also advises on issues arising from foreign investment control in France as well as compliance and international sanctions in the context of M&A and  Private Equity transactions.

Guillaume speaks French and English and is a member of the Paris and New York bars.

Advised mylight150 in securing €100 million to accelerate the expansion of its solar self-consumption and smart energy management solutions in Europe.

Advised Sparkfood and Sofinnova Partners on €15 million fundraising for Bon Vivant, a French start-up that produces sustainable milk proteins by using nutritional yeasts and precision fermentation.

Advised Mirova, a subsidiary of Natixis Investissement Managers dedicated to sustainable investment, in connection with a €32 million fund-raising by Naïo Technologies, a pioneer and leader in agricultural robotics, to support the company's industrial and commercial growth.

Advised Creadev, the Mulliez family's private equity investment company, on its acquisition of a minority stake in Nous Epiceries Anti-Gaspi, a network of stores pioneering the fight against food waste in France.

Advising a leading player in sustainable finance in the negotiation of a joint venture as part of a large co-investment project in the renewable energy sector.

Advising a global private equity fund in the setting up of its €680 million joint venture with a French CAC 40 company dedicated to the purchase and management of strategic real estate assets in France, as well as the negotiation of a revised shareholding and governance structure through a French regulated fund.

Advising several French media and telecoms groups in the setting-up of Gravity, a joint-venture dedicated to the pooling and monetization of personal data collected by the joint venture partners and members through their websites and mobile apps).

Private equity fund

Advising a global private equity fund in the setting up of its EUR 680 million joint venture with a French CAC 40 company dedicated to the purchase and management of strategic real estate assets in France, as well as the negotiation of a revised ownership and governance structure through a French regulated fund.

Advising an international mining group in connection with the acquisition of a majority interest in a joint venture operating a limestone quarry in sub-Saharan Africa, and in the renegotiation of milestone payments and revised joint venture governance structure.

Advised Oryx Energies S.A in its acquisition of a majority stake in Puma Energy Senegal S.A. The transaction strengthens Oryx Energies' presence in Senegal and reflects the company's commitment to supporting the energy transition towards cleaner fuels in the country.

Altitude Group is the 3rd largest fiber optic infrastructure operator in France, employing more than 1,600 personnel across its subsidiaries, which include Altitude Infra, Airmob, Covage, Linkt, Phibee Télécom and Ubicité. Netwo is a tech startup offering access to a telecoms' infrastructure marketplace with the aim of simplifying, automating and boosting the business of telecoms operators.
