Emily joined the Stephenson Harwood team in Singapore as an England & Wales qualified solicitor after her two-year training contract with the London team. Emily has experience assisting on a broad range of M&A transactions throughout the region including Malaysia, Indonesia, India and Vietnam. She has also worked on a number of matters for US and UK clients on transactions in the APEC region.

Advising S&P Global Platts, a leading independent provider of information and benchmark prices for the commodities and energy markets, on its acquisition of two conferences from Conference Connection.

Leading UK bank

Advising a leading UK bank in the sale of a portfolio of shipping operating lease assets. Certain assets were sold to a global private equity fund as part of the broader portfolio disposal process. The transaction involved several rounds of bidding and negotiations and was, in part, structured as a share sale of various vessel owning companies incorporated in Singapore, Hong Kong and the Marshall Islands.
