David is a structured finance specialist with a particular focus on receivables financing and acquisition finance.  His extensive experience over many years of complex cross-border transactions is valued by clients in structuring transactions which are documented in a clear and straightforward fashion.

David has been involved in a range of structured finance transactions including invoice discounting, project finance, acquisition finance and cross-border secured lending.  He has worked both for finance providers and for borrowers which has given him a thorough understanding of the issues that are important to both sides in a transaction.

The Legal 500 described him as a highly regarded individual with "excellent technical knowledge, great experience and very strong drafting skills".  He has been named as a key individual and a recommended individual by Chambers and The Legal 500.

His trade finance experience involves pre-payment and pre-export finance transactions in various developing jurisdictions and his work in cross-border European transactions means he has experience of the wide range of legal issues that can arise when implementing cross-border financing structures.

He has been published in Trade & Forfaiting Review and is a guest lecturer at BPP University.
