Daniel has advised a wide range of clients, within the music, media, technology, life sciences, public and charity sectors. Daniel has significant data protection experience and has held data protection roles in a tech and start up focussed London firm, and in-house as a privacy manager at Warner Music, before joining Stephenson Harwood.
His recent experience includes: assisting with the response to a global data breach including responses to separate country supervisory authorities; advising on the impacts of the Schrems II decision and the introduction of the updated EU Standard Contractual Clauses and UK International Data Transfer Agreement/ Addendum; advising on cookies regulation and the impacts of the Planet 49 decision; providing strategic advice in relation to global direct marketing compliance; advising on the impact of Brexit on international data transfer flows; and full suite data protection and privacy documents.
