Dani has more than 20 years’ experience representing and providing strategic advice to clients, including governments, sovereign investment funds, international and national oil companies and government agencies on participation in investment funds and large-scale infrastructure and energy projects, public private partnership, crisis management and
government response.

Dani has at various times been involved in structuring and managing major international and sovereign- backed wealth funds and their underlying investments and joint ventures.

Dani is also a director of a private investment holding being part of a sovereign family office based in the Gulf State and Hong Kong.

Based in London, Dani splits his time between the UK, the Middle East and the Far East.

Advising the chairman of a leading financial brokerage house in investigations concerning multi-billion dollar fraudulent transactions, and global corruption.

Advising a government- linked entity on the development of an RMB-related trading platform to cover the full spectrum of the RMB ecosystem that covers the financial sector (to include offshore RMB settlement and clearing, twinning of exchanges, creation of RMB- denominated capital market offerings, RMB deposits and payment systems, etc), commercial, energy trading (including physical) and asset management.

Acting on behalf of a sovereign- backed investment company to establish a multi-billion dollar joint fund focusing on energy and infrastructure with another sovereign state.

Advising a leading state-owned enterprise on a multiple energy and infrastructure project in North and West Africa as part of the Belt and Road project.

Advising a North African government on the recovery of assets (estimated to be more than US$20 billion) stolen during a regime change.

Advising a foreign government agency on the recovery of stolen assets from state funds (of more than US$5 billion).

Advising an East-European company on its corporate restructuring and its disputes with the host state.

Acting on behalf of a family office in relation to the potential acquisition of a portfolio of energy assets in Central Asia and Africa totalling just under US$3 billion.
