Bobbie has worked closely with a number of the department's strategic clients and has also been instrumental in leading large scale data protection projects. Bobbie advises on a variety of contracts and issues including product distribution agreements, clinical and commercial manufacturing and supply agreements, and research and development agreements. She has also been on secondment at three life sciences companies.

Bobbie is listed as a key lawyer in Legal500 for Data Protection, Privacy and Cybersecurity.

Advised in relation to an agreement relating to the manufacture of AZD1222, the Covid-19 vaccine candidate developed by the University of Oxford and commercialised and distributed by AstraZeneca.

Advised on a data protection compliance project and a number of ad hoc issues relating to data protection in the biotech industry.

Advising a pharmaceutical company

Advised on a wide range of matters including drug product distribution agreements and supply chain re-organisation.

A leading global medical technology, pharmaceutical diagnostics and digital solutions company

Advised on a wide range of matters including a private labelling agreement, an international distribution agreement, a material transfer agreement and various supply chain agreements.

Advising a pharmaceutical company

Advised on a wide range of matters including in relation to IT infrastructure, distribution agreements, master agreements for the provision of marketing and regulatory affairs services and data protection.

Advised on a variety of matters whilst on secondment supporting the new medicines and technical operations teams.

developing a creative solution to the complex issue of allocation of controller/processor roles according to processing activities in client facing documentation.

Drafting patient and healthcare professional facing privacy notice information for a patient support programme sponsored by a pharmaceutical client.

Simplification and automation of data protection contracting

Assisting a pharmaceutical client with the simplification and automation of its data protection contracting documents.

Complex international agreement

Drafting and negotiating a complex international agreement with a global contract research organisation for a pharma tech company to ensure the balance between the furtherance of innovative research vs. the protection of clinical trial patient data and compliance with the complex regulatory landscape.

Advising Trenitalia c2c Limited  on various matters including advising on its rights and options under a long-term agreement with a provider of portable ticket issuing machines including advice on practical negotiations and drafting formal correspondence; advising on the implications of Brexit on international transfers of personal data to/from the UK and the corresponding amendments required to various template documents; and advising on the data protection issues arising under its drugs and alcohol screening policy.

Advising the SWiFT – women in rail network on direct marketing regulations and compliance with data protection legislation.

Supporting and supervising Stephenson Harwood's Data Protection secondee at Transport UK Group (formerly Abellio).
