Aysegul is an associate in our marine and international trade team with a focus on marine insurance disputes. She is a dual-qualified lawyer and has an LLM degree in Maritime Law at University of Southampton.

Aysegul is working closely with London market insurers and cargo interests all around the world. She advises on coverage disputes, general average, war risks, policy wordings with an aim to bring a pragmatic and commercial approach to achieve results at an early stage. Having previously worked as an underwriter and claims handler at a marine insurance mutual in London she looks at disputes with a variety of perspectives.

She is currently taking Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers exams to become a member of the Institution.
