Anthony is an associate in the banking and finance group of Stephenson Harwood’s Hong Kong office with a focus on general banking, international trade finance, fintech and regulatory matters.

Anthony specialises in advising leading banks, financial institutions, fintechs and insurers on the drafting of different documentation (e.g. loan, security, trade finance, credit insurance, platform service and standard client documentation) as well as product structuring. He also advises on trade finance and credit insurance disputes (e.g. debt recovery and fraud) regularly.

Further, Anthony has extensive experience in advising clients on issues regarding regulation and compliance (particularly those relating to the HKMA and the HKIA), anti-money laundering and sanctions, money lending and data privacy.

Anthony also has experience on a wide range of TMT-related matters (e.g. licensing, outsourcing, data protection, partnerships and loyalty programmes), having been seconded to a Hong Kong telecom conglomerate.

Advised various international and Chinese banks, financial institutions and fintechs on matters in relation to trade-based anti-money laundering and sanction issues.
