Anna is a banking and finance partner specialising in international trade finance and commercial banking.  She regularly advises financial institutions on the drafting of various trade finance documentation and general commercial banking matters.

She has considerable experience in a range of trade finance products, such as letters of credit, documentary collections, factoring, supply chain solutions, and also in trade finance disputes, court injunctions and other court proceedings in Hong Kong, the PRC and other jurisdictions.

Anna also has a particularly strong focus on PRC cross-border loan transactions and regularly advises financial institutions and corporates on PRC-related transactions and matters relating to PRC regulations.

She is an accredited general mediator of Hong Kong Mediation Accreditation Association Limited.

Advised several PRC banks on a series of term loan facilities to PRC corporates and state-owned enterprises secured by standby letters of credit with the aggregate facility amount averaging HK$12 billion per year.

Advised FinTech companies with online financing platforms in developing user-friendly facility and security documents and platform agreements, and generally in relation to electronic transactions, regulatory compliance and blockchain technology.

Open account and supply chain finance 

Advised a Hong Kong property developer in a HK$3.33 billion receivable purchase transaction in relation to refunds of stamp duties in connection with the acquisition and redevelopment of old property units.

Advised a Hong Kong bank in a US$500 million factoring transaction in relation to retention moneys to be released by government entities and other public bodies upon the satisfaction of certain conditions under construction contracts.

Assisted banks and corporates in trade finance dispute resolution, court injunctions and expert decisions under the International Chamber of Commerce's Documentary Instruments Dispute Resolution Expertise (DOCDEX) procedure.
