Projects and infrastructure
Our multi-disciplinary projects and infrastructure team is experienced in reconciling the interests of sponsors, financiers, procuring authorities and other stakeholders.
Frequently it advises on the finance, construction, operation and maintenance aspects of infrastructure projects across domestic and international jurisdictions. Currently we are working on projects in the UK, Singapore, Greece and Ireland.
Whenever the project requires, our team draws on other Stephenson Harwood specialists to advise in areas such as public procurement, employment, insurance, technology use and protection, tax and real estate.
Our experience lies across a number of areas including the following:
- Accommodation - including education, healthcare (hospitals, LIFT schemes and treatment centres), key worker accommodation, prisons, social services buildings, social housing and waste
- Utilities - including supply and distribution and street lighting
- Regeneration
- Transportation - including airports, ports, multi-modal, rail, roads and roads maintenance
- Energy - including offshore oil and gas, power plants, combined heat and power schemes and renewables, including wind farms
