Not for profit
We act for a large number of important not-for-profit clients in a broad range of sectors. They include registered charities, non-governmental organisations, trade and professional associations and public sector bodies. We provide the commercial advice and practical support they need to further their objectives.
A number of our not-for-profit clients have been with the firm for many years, in some cases decades. This is testament to the team's commitment to relationships and understanding the nuances of each individual organisation with its own specific objectives.
We act for a considerable number of public and voluntary sector clients including local authorities, government agencies, NGOs, colleges, universities, housing associations and NHS trusts. We have advised our clients on everything from human rights issues to public sector powers, procedural and governance issues and procurement. We have also been involved in seminal cases on conflicts of interest and confidentiality.
Recent experience in respect of our charity clients includes working on many aspects of charity law and practice from property investments, protection of intellectual property through to employment and pensions advice and constitutional and governance issues.
