Dan is a partner in the commercial, outsourcing and technology group. His practice is broadly split between services and supply chain issues, including procurement and supply at all stages of production, and outsourcing of both IT and BPO services.
Dan regularly advises on the structure of and contracts for day-to-day trading relationships in relation to the provision of services and the manufacture of goods at various stages of the supply chain. He also advises on significant one-off projects and strategic alliances for the provision of goods and services, particularly in the financial services, transport, life sciences and energy sectors. He has particular knowledge of centralised procurement structures and consignment manufacturing arrangements.
In relation to outsourcing, Dan has recently advised on several different agreements for the provision of banking platforms to banks, the provision of catering services on Eurostar trains and the provision of home energy services for a major utility in the UK. Dan also regularly advises clients on distribution, agency, franchising and sponsorship arrangements.
Dan’s practice covers clients in the UK as well as those based throughout Europe and the US. He worked in Paris for a number of years and speaks fluent French.
