International law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has appointed Sean Angle as a corporate and projects partner in the Dubai office. Sean joins from DLA Piper Middle East LLP, where he has been regional head of finance and projects since 2011. He was previously regional head of corporate at Reed Smith LLP in Dubai.
Sean has nearly 27 years of experience as a lawyer in four different jurisdictions, with 23 of those years based in the Middle East. During that time he has specialised in major infrastructure projects across the power, water and industrial sector, corporate commercial (including investigatory work), tourism and property development work. Sean has worked on a wide variety of internal corporate and government investigations, large project arbitration disputes, IPOs, drafting of laws and structuring of regional corporate vehicles for multinational businesses.
Sean's expertise extends to the Oman market and he has previously engaged with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Sultanate of Oman to completely review and redraft the Oman Commercial Companies Law.

Stephenson Harwood's Dubai office has been operational since December 2012. Currently, the office undertakes commercial litigation, marine and international trade, asset finance and general corporate and commercial work.
