Mike Phillips, partner and head of marine and international trade at international law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP, has been awarded the Client Choice Award 2015 for the Shipping & Transport category in the United Kingdom. Mike was the sole winner of the prestigious award.
The Client Choice awards recognise partners around the world that stand apart for the excellent client service they provide. The criteria for the awards focus on the ability to add real value to clients’ business above and beyond other players in the market. Uniquely, these awards survey senior corporate counsel only, with this year’s winners chosen from a pool of more than 2,000 individual client assessments.
The research is conducted by a readership survey of International Law Office (ILO) and Lexology in-house counsel subscribers. Clients are asked to rate individual lawyers and law firms on the following client service criteria: quality of legal advice, value for money, commercial awareness, effective communication, billing transparency, tailored fee structures, response time, sharing of expertise and use of technology.
Mike commented "I'm delighted to have been awarded the Client Choice Award in the Shipping & Transport category. Being based exclusively on client nomination, and client feedback, this award is particularly special to us."
