- Britannia Steam Ship Insurance Association - advising in relation to a management buy out of its managers, Tindall Riley, from Allianz.
- British Marine Holdings Limited - representing the client on its sale to QBE Insurance.
- CVC Asia Pacific - advised on its exit from Asia Printers Group Limited. The sale was for a cash consideration of HK$740 million (US$95 million) subject to adjustment.
- Arts Alliance Media Limited - advised Arts Alliance and its investee company, LoveFilm International Limited on the £78 million merger between LoveFilm International and Video Island Inc, creating the European market leader in on-line DVD rental.
- Bayerische Landesbank - advised on the sale of controlling interests in the Formula One Group to CVC Capital Partners.
- EMR Technology - advised Indian BPO company, EMR Technology, on the acquisition of specialist outsourcing provider Rubicon Group from Penta Capital.
- HeroITES - advised on its acquisition of Telecom Services Centres, one of the largest call centre operations in the UK.
- International Consolidated Minerals - advised on the reverse takeover by Platinum Diversified Mining and re-admission to AIM.
- Macdonald Hotels - advised on the £400 million sale of a portfolio of 24 hotels to Moorfield Real Estate Fund.
- OPD Group plc - advising on the contested cash and paper bid for AIM-listed Imprint plc which included a Takeover Panel auction process.
- Property Acquisition & Management Limited - advised on the defended hostile £230 million bid and subsequent recommended offer by Channel Hotel & Properties Limited.
