Teah has over 10 years of experience of advising on shipping contracts, including charterparties, bills of lading, bunker supply contracts, COAs, sale contracts and commercial partnership agreements as well as the arrest of vessels, collisions and ship finance matters.

Her extensive expertise in advising on and arbitrating charterparty disputes includes all types of charterparty forms involving all types of vessels from bulk to tankers to the offshore sector. Issues frequently arising include termination and vessel withdrawal issues, late and early redelivery claims, unsafe port issues, hold cleaning claims, off-hire claims, the exercise of liens, compliance with charterers' orders, ship to ship transfers, cargo shortage, detention and laytime and demurrage issues.

In addition, Teah has considerable experience of advising on and arbitrating COA disputes and has expertise in drafting new COAs.
