Silvia has helped a number of wealthy families set up trust structures to hold the family’s wealth and to achieve the family’s succession needs. She has worked and assisted family offices on a variety of matters, including helping one family set up a number of different trust structures to hold the family’s diversified assets and achieve the family’s philanthropic objectives. She also advises on probate matters and Hong Kong charities.
Silvia obtained her Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Commerce and Administration from Victoria University of Wellington and her Masters of Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She also holds a Masters of Economics from the University of Hong Kong.
She speaks English, Cantonese, Mandarin and Shanghainese.
Chambers Asia Pacific quoted that Silvia provides a "seamless service" and "is very practical and technically she is very strong". Silvia also advises on the setting up of Hong Kong charities and is often invited to speak at events.
