Sheridan is a dispute resolution lawyer with a focus on shipping and offshore projects. He has assisted in court proceedings in both the Admiralty and Commercial courts, and the Technology and Construction Court. He also has experience in arbitral proceedings (LMAA and ICC).
Sheridan has acted on behalf of a range of international clients including contractors, shipowners, charterers, yards, P&I clubs and insurers.
He was involved in the team working on Bluewater Energy Services BV v Mercon Steel Structures BV and others  EWHC 2132 (TCC), which concerned a final account dispute as well as issues relating to termination and extensions of time. Another case Sheridan was involved in was Astipalaia v Owners and/or Demise Charterers of the Hanjin Shenzhen  EWHC 210 (Admlty), which clarified how to quantify the loss of profits arising from a collision.
