She has experience on advising public and private companies on M&As, joint ventures and general corporate and commercial matters. Transaction sectors span industries ranging from shipping, food and beverage, fashion and retail, property development and hospitality sectors.

Sheetal was involved in the S$13.1 billion competing takeover offer for Fraser and Neave, Limited, one of Southeast Asia's largest takeovers. This transaction won the IFLR Asia Awards 2014 M&A Deal of the Year and saw a few firsts for Singapore M&As.

Acted for a competing offeror in relation to its S$13.1 billion voluntary conditional cash offer to acquire Fraser And Neave, Limited This was one of South-East Asia’s largest takeovers. This transaction won the IFLR Asia Awards 2014 M&A Deal of the Year.

Disposal of Jaya Holdings Limited's business

Acted for Jaya Holdings Limited in the disposal of all of its entire business for a purchase consideration of S$625 million.

Sale of banking business

Acted as Singapore counsel for the Royal Bank of Scotland’s sale of its private banking and wealth management business, Coutts & Co Ltd, to Union Bancaire Privée by way of a scheme of arrangement.
