Pippa advises on a broad range of corporate transactions, including international and domestic mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings and reorganisations. Pippa's particular focus is acquisitions and disposals for private equity clients.

Pippa has advised a variety of UK and international clients, ranging from large multinationals to start-ups, across a number of business sectors including financial services, energy, real estate, retail, hotels and leisure.

Acting for the family trusts of Tom Singh, the founder of clothing retail chain New Look, on the sale of the company by Apax and Permira to Brait SE, an investment company, for an enterprise value of £1.9 billion.

Acting for a specialist investor in distressed and undervalued or underperforming businesses in the merger of one of its portfolio companies.

Acting for TA Associates on the sale of MandM Direct Limited to Bestseller A/S.

Acting for an Australian listed client on the acquisition of the business and assets of several law firms.

 

Pippa has acted for buyers, sellers and management teams in a number of private equity transactions.  Her experience includes:

Acting for the senior management team on the disposal of the entire issued share capital of Domestic & General Group Holding Limited to CVC for £750 million and rollover by management in to the new group.

Acting for Alchemy on the merger of Parkdean Holidays with Park Resorts (owned by Electra) for a combined enterprise value of £960 million.

Advising the management team of Photobox on their sale to Exponent (and related equity arrangements).

Acting for a mid-market private equity firm on the acquisition of an insurance broking business and the merger of that business with one of the firm's existing portfolio companies.

Acting for a private property developer on the acquisition of a central London property for £260 million, part financed by a sovereign wealth fund through a joint venture arrangement.

Acting for Westmont Hospitality Group on the acquisition of several properties, both by way of share purchase and asset purchase (including acquisitions from administrators as part of pre-pack administrations).

Acting for a large REIT specialising in property investment and development on the disposal of a non-core asset.
