Patrick specialises in planning and environmental law and has advised clients on private developments, compulsory acquisition matters, public private partnership infrastructure projects and energy and natural resources matters. He is a junior level solicitor in our environment and planning law team.

Patrick has recently been involved on two renewable energy matters; the redevelopment of a major energy-from-waste project in North London and providing advice concerning a large group of solar farms located within England and Wales.

He has contentious environmental and planning law experience, having prepared appeals under the Water Industry Act in respect of trade effluent consents, and having conducted judicial reviews on planning and compulsory purchase matters.

Patrick has significant experience dealing with matters concerning the Freedom of Information Act and the Environmental Information Regulations, and is a contributing author on the latter for LexisNexis.

Patrick is a New Zealand qualified lawyer.
