Mark is an IP associate with a wide breadth of knowledge and experience. He has represented and advised clients in several different sectors in relation to the enforcement, commercial exploitation and protection of their IP. Mark's clients appreciate his clear and commercial advice.

Mark's experience spans the full gamut of IP rights. He spends much of his time advising easyGroup on the protection of its 'easy' family of brands, which includes easyJet, easyHotel, easyCar, easyOffice and easyProperty among dozens of others. Mark has recently advised a hotel group on several new brands; cleared the brand of a pre-eminent taxi services company before its launch in the UK; advised a technology company on the protection of its trade secrets including securing a preliminary order for delivery up; drafted a patent and know-how licence for an innovative clean technology company; and advised a haulage company on the enforcement of its patents.

Following 12 months secondment to GSK where he advised both the consumer healthcare business and the pharmaceutical business on trade mark and copyright issues, Mark now assists GSK with trade mark and copyright enforcement issues in its respiratory portfolio.

Mark gives regular talks on IP and also takes the time to give pro bono IP advice including organising termly IP clinics for students of the Royal College of Art.
