Katie advises on a wide range of commercial, outsourcing and technology transactions. She has a particular interest in helping clients with the freedom of information and data privacy implications of their business dealings.
Katie draws on her experience advising corporate clients on contentious matters in her previous role as a dispute resolution associate at a leading international law firm. She also gained commercial and corporate law experience at the firm’s London and Hong Kong offices, where she worked on international contractual disputes, corporate reorganisations and business purchases.
Katie then developed her data privacy and freedom of information law expertise by writing online legal know-how on these topics for use by in-house government and non-departmental public body lawyers. This also developed her knowledge of the issues affecting the public sector.
