Kate is a senior associate in the firm's banking team, with experience acting for both lender and borrower clients on a range of debt financings, having particular expertise in real estate financing and corporate lending transactions. Kate has a wealth of knowledge and has advised stakeholders on a range of investment and development property financings, especially within the retail and leisure sector.

Kate advises lenders and borrowers on a range of secured and unsecured debt financing transactions, frequently with a cross-border element. She acts for an array of clients, including the UK clearers, international banks, alternative lenders, funds, joint-venture vehicles and corporates from around the world.

Her expertise lies in corporate lending and real estate finance transactions. In real estate finance, Kate has been involved in some of the most high profile financings of super prime residential developments in the London market. She has also advised a number of lenders and borrowers on investment financing for a range of assets: retail, industrial, shopping centres, hotels and commercial offices, including large portfolio acquisitions.

£165 million hotel refinancing

Advising a US pension fund on lending to a new borrower in refinancing one of its five star central London luxury hotels within the wider group’s international hotel portfolio.  Including negotiating a letter of credit as well as advising on the cross-border security structure.

£98 million hotel refinancing

Advising major UK clearing bank on its refinancing of a borrower group that were adding two new hotel and development sites to its existing four hotel portfolio and expanding geographically from its London investment base.

£40 million mixed property portfolio

Advising a borrower on refinancing its existing property portfolio following its restructure of the family trust arrangements and including a hunting facility within its existing facility arrangements.
