She is also experienced in professional negligence claims, both defending claims and acting for professional regulators in disciplinary proceedings involving their members.

Kasia is recognised by clients and counsel alike as a highly capable associate who adds real value to the matters in which she is involved.  Her reputation in the contentious trusts arena continues to grow and she has extensive experience in complex, high value trust disputes involving multiple clients and often involving third party litigation funders and insurers.

Kasia is also experienced in representing parties involved in pensions disputes, with a particular experience in defending professional negligence claims.  She is able to delve into the minutae of scheme documentation and analyse problems and develop novel strategies to assist clients in reaching their commercial aims.

Kasia also works with professional regulators, advising on their disciplinary processes and acting in disciplinary proceedings.  As a solicitor-advocate, she regularly prepares and presents disciplinary cases before tribunals (both at first instance and on appeal).

Acting for three beneficiaries of a family trust in a claim for an account and removal of trustee where substantial assets have been misappropriated from the Trust.

Application to vary a Trust

Acting for the adult beneficiaries in an application to vary a number of family trusts where the paternity and beneficial status of a family member is uncertain.

Successfully obtaining an order for a Letter of Request asking the English Court to order the deposition of a partner of a leading law firm in relation to confidential files and information to assist in determining the assets of a trust.
