On a daily basis Hayley advises employers on workplace issues such as disciplinaries and grievances, redundancies, performance and absence management as well as working with them to draft employment contracts, policies and procedures that reflect their values, with a particular interest in family friendly rights.
She also has a lot of experience in assisting individuals with workplace issues and negotiating service agreements and settlement agreements on their behalf. Hayley provides guidance to employers and individuals in Employment Tribunal disputes and has represented an employer in judicial mediation.
She supports our corporate team on the employment aspects of reorganisations, outsourcings, restructuring and mergers and acquisitions, including the application of the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006, providing guidance on the duties and obligations arising from it.
During her time at Stephenson Harwood, she has completed a four month secondment to KPMG.
