Christine is a senior associate at Virtus Law*. Her practice area is in litigation and dispute resolution and she has experience in a wide range of commercial disputes.

Christine focuses on civil and commercial disputes, general contractual claims, employment matters, landlord-tenancy matters and has represented accused persons in criminal proceedings.  She has also provided advice on both contentious and non-contentious matters as well as drafted, reviewed, advised on and amended various legal documentation and agreements.

She was previously seconded to Amazon.com, Inc as legal and employment counsel for the Asia Pacific region while concurrently practicing as a litigator. This experience has helped Christine understand the value of resolving disputes in a commercial and practical manner that provides her clients with the most suitable resolution to their matter.

Assisting in a matter involving an indirect former subsidiary of a bankrupted Russian oil giant in an action in Singapore to enforce an arbitration award obtained in New York to recover monies owed by a former sister company but now state-owned.

Assisting in a matter involving an international healthcare corporation in negotiations with its logistics service provider in respect of temperature excursions in the storage facilities.

Legal and employment counsel for the Asia Pacific Region in Amazon.com, Inc in which she provided advice on Singapore employment law.

As part of her role in Amazon, she liaised, co-ordinated and reviewed legal advice from legal counsel in the various Asia Pacific countries for the purposes of answering legal queries in relation to Amazon entities in the respective Asia Pacific countries.

Advising clients on employment contracts, termination of employment, fiduciaries duties owed by employees to their company and the enforceability of restrictive covenants.
