Chloe is an associate in the employment team, and advises clients on the full range of employment law issues including both contentious and non-contentious matters.

Chloe provides commercial and pragmatic advice on a range of day to day employment issues including disciplinary and performance matters, individual and collective redundancy exercises and executive departures. She has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating employment contracts, policies and complex settlement agreements.

Chloe advises on the employment aspects of corporate transactions (both share and asset sales), including conducting due diligence, negotiating transaction documents and advising on TUPE.

Chloe also has contentious experience, defending unfair dismissal and discrimination claims in the employment tribunal.

Redundancies and restructuring

Advised an investment firm on a redundancy exercise including drafting the relevant documentation and advised a UK manufacturing business on a collective redundancy process. 

Employment documentation

Drafted and negotiated executive service agreements and settlement agreements for a private equity investment business.

Family friendly rights

Drafted family friendly policies for employee handbooks and advised clients on family friendly rights.

Corporate transactions:

Transactional support

Advised on the employment aspects of the share acquisition of a Premier League football club, including due diligence and negotiating contracts for key personnel.

International projects

Project managed 'rest of the world' aspects of a transaction across multiple jurisdictions, acting as single point of contact for a US based client.

Property transactions

Advised on the TUPE aspects of property transactions and drafted and  negotiated employment provisions of the transaction documents.

Employment tribunal claims

Advised employers on defending unfair dismissal, age discrimination and TUPE related claims in the employment tribunal.
