Anthony joined the marine and international trade department in March 2014 and since then has assisted with a wide range of disputes and advisory work. In particular, he has worked closely with Korean clients and spent time in 2015 on secondment at a major Korean shipyard.  Anthony has advised on a range of charterparty issues both from the owner and the charterer's perspectives.

One thread which joins much of Anthony's work is the offshore oil and gas industry. He has experience of the issues affecting the construction and delivery of drilling rigs, drillships, accommodation units and FPSOs. He has also assisted with the negotiation of contracts for the operation, maintenance and charter of an offshore production facility as well as a transhipment agreement for an FSO.  He has worked on disputes involving the construction of drilling rigs, contracts for AHTS vessels and PSVs. Anthony also has some experience of new offshore and onshore E&P agreements.

Examples of some of the other work Anthony has undertaken in the department include a major containership general average and a successful jurisdictional challenge in the Commercial Court.

Prior to joining Stephenson Harwood, Anthony spent six months working at the Competition Appeal Tribunal.  He has also spent six months on secondment at a leading international auction house.
