Main duties and responsibilities: To take initial instructions, undertake research, prepare legal documentation, consult and advise clients and undertake various business development tasks as required.
Location of job: London (with an overseas secondment to one or more of our Asia offices)
Skills, qualification and experience: Firstly we look for quick intellect with a 2:1 in any discipline (and the GDL if a non-law degree) plus 320 UCAS points. You'll also need to have completed the LPC or be due to complete it by September 2016. Analytical skills, sound judgment, imagination and meticulous attention to detail are essential. Also vital are the communication skills to be persuasive and build rapport, plenty of drive and determination, plus a keen interest in business. Candidates must demonstrate fluent spoken and written English language skills. Some Korean or Chinese language skills are essential, along with an appreciation of Chinese culture, as the role will involve liaising with our clients in Asia as well as an overseas secondment to one of our Asia offices.
Salary package: £38,000 for first year, £42,000 for second year.
